Wow. It has been some time since I’ve done anything with this blog. 5 years of dust had settled on everything and there were cobwebs everywhere. Looks like I had 850 or so new users register. Exactly 4 of them are real. The ever-present comment spammers bombarded my posts with thousands of links. I’m really glad I had set comments to manual approval before I left. The Linode this site runs on and my WordPress install were woefully neglected as well. I’ve spent the last couple days upgrading everything and doing general house cleaning to set things right.
And now I’m back.
I know this post is short but I’ll detail what I’m up in my next post. I just needed to break inertia and get the ball rolling.
